Rushan Abbyasov (first deputy chairman of the Russia Muftis Council, deputy chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation) met with representatives of the Directorate of Religious Affairs, the Turkish foundation "Diyanat" represented by Dursun Ali Coşkun, head of the Department of Education and Counselling, and Isa Küçükbaki, expert in academic and cultural activities of the religious foundation "Diyanat". The meeting was also attended by Rais Yanglichev, an employee of the Religious Affairs Department of the Turkish Embassy in the Russian Federation.

At the beginning of the meeting Rushan Hazrat conveyed greetings on behalf of the religious leader of Russian Muslims Mufti Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin. He informed tha guests about religious, social, educational and cultural programmes of the RMC and RBMRF and thanked the Turkish delegates for constant support and participation in joint events and projects.

The representatives of the Department of Religious Affairs and the Turkish foundation "Diyanat" conveyed warm greetings on behalf of the chairman of the Directorate of Religious Affairs of Türkiye, Dr Ali Erbaş.

During the meeting the parties praised the level of cooperation and discussed further plans in humanitarian, religious and educational spheres.

The parties emphasised the importance of participation of religious administration employees in strengthening public relations and contacts between Russia and Turkey.
