First Deputy Chairman of the Russia Muftis Council, Deputy Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation Rushan Abbyasov visited the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Abdulrahman Al-Ahmed.

The meeting was dedicated to discussing a joint charity event. Mr Al-Ahmed handed over to Rushan Abbyasov the copies of the Holy Quran and tafseers issued by the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran in Medina. The books will be sent to Islamic schools in the Moscow region, where they will benefit young and adult Muslims willing to expand their religious knowledge.

Rushan Abbyasov thanked Mr Ambassador and the leadership of Saudi Arabia for such a useful gift and productive cooperation developing within the framework of the current Memorandum of Cooperation between the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance of Saudi Arabia.
